Wrong. Seeking asylum is legal. More than 75% of asylum seekers go to all their hearings. At the same time, they look for other avenues of legal stays in the states. Many don’t get approved for asylum.

What kills me is that most romcoms have 300-600 VFX shots.
Car comps
Beauty fixes
Phone comps
BG Extension/Location swap
Retime/Fluid morph/Performance split screens
De-Age (sometimes a whole different budget)
No one notices and no one cares about these VFX-heavy movies.
The person ultimately responded with 'i stand by what i said'.
Early studio marketing of "Fury Road" heavily implied the movie had "very little" visual effects. It stuck. We will still be correcting people 20 years from now. There are countless other examples.

You have seen so many CG cars and never known it. It would make your head spin how often cars get put in for safety reasons.
Wild how seamless this composite of the taxi shooting through a stream of traffic is. Modern CG still can't even make a car driving along look believable most of the time.

We made dinner, ate dinner, and got halfway through the dishes before we found out the whole roof/attic was on fire... it was only wisps of smoke that made us look in the furnace closet to see the wall of flame. I was 11. Scary. I wish someone would have done this a lot earlier.
