I won’t be retuning to my PhD in the fall after all 💔 There’s a huge disconnect between where I am and where I want to be. Anytime I push myself even a little it sets me back for days. I can’t afford to go back to my program and fail again. I would not recover from that.

I love this. I have gastroparesis and get 90% of my nutrition through my feeding tube. As for the other 10%, I use it for wherever I want because like my mom says, “two bites is better than none.” Sometimes the two bites is doughnut, other times ice cream. Whatever fits.

This is part of why and how my Miranda died from diabetes in December 2020. She was a badass and worked as a welder but couldn’t ever afford to balance blood sugar and insulin. I miss her every day.
So, get a load of this. I’m diabetic and have health insurance through the marketplace for which I pay $650/month. I have the highest plan bc I have a lot of chronic illnesses and disabilities.
I went to refill my meformin and for a 30 day supply it was going to be $18.
