I had a CT Scan AND MRI done recently for $400 cash pay at a reputable, higher end place. My insurance copay would have been $750 per scan ($1500 total).
I like our healthcare system in general, but our billing system is criminal and people should go to jail.

Some grocery stores are much more expensive than others. While the Biden admin has been a disaster, why is it that Walmart and Aldi still offer affordable groceries and Publix is more expensive than Whole Foods...

Denmark handles immigration and assimilation quite well.
If you haven't yet, look up their parallel societies initiatives. Would be impossible to do in the States for political reasons.

Google is a vastly superior ecosystem and the Pixel phones are phenomenal and affordable.
I have an iPad and it is such a frustrating piece of shit compared to Android.
But really, both are excellent products - Google has a better ecosystem at this point and Android is great.

My initial thought is to keep them separate for now and potentially slowly transition after gathering some more data.
By keeping it separate, you have 2 listings and more coverage... It's like McDonalds also owning Burger King.
With a good reputation, why not keep it for now?

Sounds right to me. You pay for better boarding and then watch entire families with one wheel chair fill up the front of the plane before you get on, paying nothing extra.
Of course passengers are resentful.
This is a very welcome change and will drive more revenue, too.

Does nothing of the sort. This misinformation campaign hits social media every year it seems. They spray hypochlorous acid, which is certified organic and, in fact, is created in your body. Oh no! It's a good thing that vegetables are very lightly sanitized.

You need to carefully decide which memories stick with your kid.

It does matter. And when you can afford this, you still have a sense of value. I'm in a similar boat. I don't mind spending a lot, but I just feel like I'm getting ripped off so it's not a pleasant experience.

It's not about getting by without cars. We have plenty of cars in Denmark. It's about smarter engineering that makes better cities and towns that integrate cars properly. The US is fundamentally broken in our city planning.

Tried everything for 20+ years. Just can't beat biology. Used a GLP1 and completely changed my life and got me on track. It's just a peptide. A simple tool that if used correctly, can be life changing. I cycle on and off it but currently not on it and doing fine.

The median income in the USA is $75k. Which means a $200k minimum to retire comfortably is kind of silly. You can live very well in many places for $75k - and like a king if you want to live overseas.

Avoiding plastic as much as possible is a low hanging fruit for most people.
A few basics:
- Use glass food storage containers
- Never heat any food or drink in plastic
- Reverse Osmosis (then remineralize) water
- Avoid non-stick pans as much as possible
Anything else?

In animal studies, microplastics can trigger inflammation in heart cells, impair heart function, and cause scarring.
Minimize plastic exposure where/however you can.

I do this almost every day. Works incredibly well. Instead of creamer, just a little butter and MCT. It's fantastic. About the same amount that someone would put on a slice of toast. And yet I'll feel full for hours and hours plus have exceptional mental clarity. Maybe try it?

You have to try and count when your metabolism is broken. Been there. Once you fix your metabolism and lifestyle, which is hard to do, calories absolutely become meaningless. Took me awhile to finally realize it. But I'm there now.

I travel more than I like, and I get a lot of balance from seeing other places. But I also think it's unnecessary and most people would be better served embracing their local area over traveling.

Then a nice walk in the barley field with the pup.
Eat quality, whole foods. Keep it local. Walk, be active, and practice mindfulness.
Do this as much as you can.

Most dairy cows are not healthy, at all. I've spent plenty of time at our neighbors industrial dairy facility. It's a pretty damn sad place, actually. Organic, grass fed dairy isn't that common.

I actually did reintroduce seed oils into my diet (never thought I'd say that).
Specifically cold pressed camelina.
Experimenting with it as the omega ratios are outstanding and it seems to be a more complete omega supplement than fish oil.

A pet cow can live to 20. Dairy cows are whacked closer to 5 years old. They aren't productive much past that age. Dairy operations are brutal and only high producers are kept. It's computer tracked per cow, every ounce
Meat cows usually less than 2.
