A child in my daughter’s virtual class has covid. Coughing, sore throat, raspy voice, red eyes. This is day 3 of infection, his whole family tested positive yesterday. He just told the class how excited he is to go to his karate tournament after school today. Maskless, of course

A girl from my daughter’s class asked her to her indoor birthday party. My daughter asked if masks would be worn - she could only attend if they were. Her friend said there is “no way that a mask was going to get in the way of her free face.” My kid is immunocompromised 😢

Each and every day I watch kids cough constantly in the classroom. Not one mask, except for the teacher. Parents aren’t respecting other kids/families/teachers enough to keep sick kids at home. Teachers can’t even ask if they have tested for covid. This world is so backwards.
