I always tell my players that confidence off the field translates to confidence on the field. When I played in the minors I would always get with the hottest women. Whenever our team was in a slump we all had to get with someone who weighed as much as the teams batting average.

Not tryna hate, but why do kids practice in clothes that they would wear to their girlfriends house (or boyfriend). What happened to kids throwing pens in pants and cleats!! We need to be better! Practice how you play man!

Drew is a hard-working LHH with plus batspeed and a short but powerful swing. I will be in Arizona watching drew very closely next week. Good student too, I grew up with one of his teachers who speaks very highly of him.

Nice Film brotha!! Sorry your team got booted first round. Wanted to see another acalanes campo matchup later on. If I’m being blunt, I think you have no chance at playing football at the next level… I think if you want to play athletics in college, rowing could work out well.

Throughout my time in the leagues I would always practice hitting balls straight into the ground to simulate my game adjustments, so I agree with your take that a hard hit fly ball is not a line drive but a grounder. All this technology is ruining the game!

Good swing. Would recommend changing your swing path to a more downwards path because you should be hitting ground balls and line drives.

Swinging down is a better method coach. You want to be as direct to the ball as possible, when you swing up and drop your back shoulder you will only hit pop ups and rollover with a lot of swing and misses. If you study the great hitters they all have swings with a downward plane

John. I agree here, machine is good to practice but it means nothing if the Youngblood can’t hit in game. Would like to see players practice in baseball pants and cleats to make these situations more game like.
