All the high school coaches out there understand the off season isn’t just time off but arguably more work with field maintenance. Field maintance, equipment prep, facility improvements ect for pennies on the dollar.
15+ hours mowing, power raking, overseeding, sanding.

Don’t quite understand why that the 2 best teams in Northern California will compete for the Division 1 championship at a Junior College… CIF socal is at Long Beach State. Kids worked hard to get to this point at least reward them.

Gonna be a beast for the Dons this year
Issac Copen (‘26, CA) had a solid two-way showing yesterday. Struck out 8 in 3 innings of work and found 3 barrels (2 below). Physical 6-2/180 frame. Can run it up to 89 and has a powerful swing that produces loud contact.
