2. Show your product clearly rather than assuming users know what you make. In this case, the function of the product is super simple and visual so motion is the best communicator possible. If the GIF can explain the product better than a flat image, the answer is always yes.

The simplest UX hacks are sometimes the most powerful. Everytime you design something on mobile that hides content offscreen, first test designing an alternate that shows it all in one view. 90% of the time you'll find a solution that works, and looks just as pretty.
