Thanks for sharing this was great. I was diagnosed in 2019, used adderall for 2 years and felt the same “radio off” feeling you do. ADHD is why i was so good at running events. A million things to do all the time, event day was my grand performance. Dancing between the setup and execution, feeling calm and flowing between the 100s of things that needed to go right and happen within minutes of each other. And, like you said, why I can be a great CEO, going a mile wide and an inch deep, despite the world telling me I need to focus and do the opposite. My sleep tweet a while back about my evening and morning routine is yes great for sleep but secretly more about managing my adhd off meds. The more structure I create and prescience I find through meditative practices the more calm and focus I experience. Driven is another book I connected deeply with, understanding how my brain is connected to rewards and risk. Barkley is great he was the first one to explain the working memory bit - which is why i’m so obsessed with notes. Side note - super excited for agents and ai and voice - the idea of being able to voice things and have them organized/updated in notion or checklists or projects etc sounds like a dream for people with fleeting thoughts. I think this is a huge opportunity.

I'm a fan of unlimited - but it has to come with the same structure that you're talking about. Netflix saw this, and as Netflix does, instead of taking advantage of it the way a lot of corporate america does, they instituted a manditory 2 week vacation, and they paid you extra money to take it, and they put disciplinary features in place if you access your computer while on it. Because they realize the benefit of an employee actually taking the fucking time off. They come back refreshed and ready to crush with fresh breath of air.
