Well it defeats the purpose of the initial dress. Just because marriage has occurred (not actually because it seems it wasn’t the Holy Sacrifice of Mass) does not dismiss modesty. You can have jewels & lace & still be modest & beautiful, the initial comment seems unwarranted.

They most certainly did not. You quoted 2 condemned heretics, Chrysostom is the outlier. Basil’s quote here is a non-sequitor on Mary’s nature, doesn’t mean much at all. Ambrose said she was preserved from all stain of sin, Ephraim said “You & your Divine Son alone are sinless.”

Michael, I know you are passionate about teaching what the Magisterium is. However, all Bishops in communion with the Pontiff exercise magisterial authority by definition. Canon 402 also states that Bishop Emeriti exercise governance in the Church though not though jurisdiction.

This is beyond chronically online. There are Orthodox jurisdictions that only chrismate (implying the Trinitarian faith is confesse) and for a long time only received via Confession of Faith. Moreover, clergy were always received by vesting.

There’s a distinction. Jews today are rabbinic Jews followers of the Talmudic tradition. The followers of the God of Moses from the 1st Century became Christians. Mary was the perfect follower of her Divine Son and therefore was a Trinitarian Christian not a Talmudist.

Famously, H.H. Pope Benedict XVI approved of the ACNA’s creation and Bishop Sutton and Archbishop Duncan both went to Rome and received his blessing. In other words, there is a real difference and a global presence and meaning to the ACNA and GAFCON, there isn’t in the G3.
