1/ This has the potential to wipe out the Tories in some of the few seats they look like holding. Of the 20 seats with the highest % of military households, all were won by the Tories in 2019, including Sunak's seat. Latest @YouGov MRP has them holding 16 of these...

one of the most interesting nuggets in these elections: in a borough where local politics has become dominated between a nimby conservative party and a nimby independent group, the winner in this ward ran on a platform of better infrastructure, not fewer houses
