Tested negative in Mombasa and positive at Malaba. MOH Ug didn’t claim false tests from Kenya. Secondly UK knows this false negative dilemma and can’t impose a ban based on that. They aren’t that stupid.They made it based on our current wave of variants & increase in infections.

If he is shutting down USAID then he has surely run mad. We can’t do without that fund in the health sector. Even with the poor state of infrastructure, the USAID provides the little there and subsidizes products like ARVs. We will have to be taxed to oblivion to compensate.

It’s a shame. That was the wrong avenue to raise grievances. As a nation, such events should be avenues for unity for Uganda. He served his country with dignity,he wasn’t perfect, he was just human. Am however happy with some members of FDC,NUP and DP who have expressed support.

Great idea but remember nationalistic interests will override the progress of the EAC airline. The economy of Rwanda depends heavily on their airline. If you merge them, it’s likely that their revenues willl drop. Secondly, who will host the HQs of this airline, Rwanda or Kenya?

I think the problem is not Museveni running at 76 but not having term limits. Biden is expected to serve for 2 terms each for 4 years if he is re-elected. By 2028 he is expected to be out. (This is a fact). On our side we even don’t know when Museveni will choose to go.

There is market in Burundi. The main issue is it doesn’t help in the long run by cutting Rwanda out. It also shows that the willingness of government to settle any martial issue it has with Rwanda is very low. It’s also not good for a government advocating for EA intergration.

ICU is generally expensive in Ug. A baby under ICU care in some private facilities was being charged 1.5M per day and this was 4yrs ago. Considering the COVID drugs involved like Remedsivir which is very expensive, it’s something we ought to think about and take SOPs seriously.

Expelling Ug teachers is a step too far. Many aren’t interested in the conflict. The problem won’t be solved & neither will Ug blink & beg for relations to be restored bse of teachers who can get other jobs in the region.That’s why I like M7’s calm & less emotional approach.

Yes am a doctor. I have done over 8 outreaches with support from MOH Uganda. I know what am talking about. USAID funds many of the projects in my country ranging from Ug Cancer Institute to Maternal and child health. We misuse the funds, that’s where problems come.

The highly ranked schools still fair better in creating an environment that can build a students social capital and lifeskills. The student from SMACK/BUDDO will still be more exposed, have an alumni system to support him/her after school and avenues of scholarships beyond UG.

Honorary Consuls are not trained diplomats. They are nominated by the countries they represent to serve their interests in Uganda. So people like Ceasor Mulenga (Vietnam), Kirumira (Namibia), Amos Nzeyi( Mauritius) are not trained diplomats but rather businessmen.

Let her visit a dental surgeon! Such a condition is called halitosis and has a number of causes which could be local or systemic. I have worked on such patients before and they get cured. It shouldn’t really result in a break up. It would demonstrate cowardice on his side.
