You’d have thought that after 37 years, the NRM would have built several gated neighborhoods with hospitals, paved roads, street lighting, private schools and shops like the apartheid regime did in SA. But these gunmen lack class. They occupied Kololo and can’t mow the lawns.1/4

If you want to see basic lack of planning, just look at this. No alignment, each property faces wherever, no regard for neighbors (privacy) and you can’t tell if it’s a residential or a mixed zone. Pure chaos. No roads, no sewerage line. An expensive ghetto. An unlivable maze!

Everything Bobi Wine said in his statement makes sense. The biggest issue that should concern Ugandans is who killed the people in Masaka? If it’s the MPs, why has the case against them stalled? People can’t die and the case is forgotten.

The incident at Isimba dam is just a result of what we see in Uganda. Flouted recruitment leads to wrong people in key positions and costly incidents with no consequences. The fact they can name anyone means they’re connected individuals. Uganda loses.

There’s a post by AIGP Kasingye that included the picture of a suspect (an illegality) and imputing she’s mentally not okay. Kasingye never called for mental health checks on the policemen who brutalized civilians for all the years he was a senior police boss. Hypocrisy.

I find it childish when politicians accuse NUP supporters of insulting them on social media. Imagine being scared that you will be insulted on X. Do they know what NRM does to its opponents? Abduction, torture, disappearance and murder. If you can’t handle insults, resign.

There is a clip of the tyrant’s son getting his ribbons. What’s obvious is the level of disorganization. No one knows where to stand and what to do. It’s too casual. The optics are embarrassing. The UPDF should at least hire some Kampala wedding planners. Sandhurst was a waste!

The Shs500m ´service award’ was given to Mpuuga at the start of his role as LoP to effectively compromise him. The NRM knew he’s a corrupt and greedy politician dangling the money was enough.

Mpuuga has been called out by his peers at his party. His statement made no sense. He didn’t answer the only allegation put to him. Instead he went down a hole of counter accusations and slander without providing any evidence. I don’t know if a party can legally dismiss an MP.

I find it strange that the UPDF chose to parade Eric Mwesigwa and not the NUP people who ‘tortured’ him. Because having survived the torture, he can help the UPDF identify and arrest those who tortured him. This is another stunt by Kulayigye.

If you’ve lived long enough under the NRM tyranny, you will know that there is a connection between the ‘bombs’ that the police are detonating and the impending visit to Kampala by NUP leader Bobi Wine. Security is laying the ground to block his tour of Kampala.

I can’t understand the motivation to call these companies investors. They bring in the money and take it all back, pay no tax, destroy the environment, displace locals and leave us with empty oil wells and a pipeline that you can’t use for anything else in the world. #StopEACOP

I can understand how UPDF started believing that they’re a fighting force. But it dangerous to believe your own hype. Sending masked ‘thugs’ to punch and kick MPs blocking lifting age limit, and breaking Nambooze’s back doesn’t prepare you to face the Al Shabaab in Somalia.

Sometimes I wish opposition politicians would have weekly press briefings where they’d dismantle all the lies peddled by the tyrant’s regime propaganda machine. Too much regime spin in the media not getting debunked lately.

We pity kids who go begging on the streets but that video of Majambere on a bed with Balaam, thanking afande this & mama that. It is a strange kind of begging. It’s sad that able bodied adult men have been reduced to this kind of living. Must be badge of permanent defeat.

Before Game Stores, there was Metro Cash & Carry. Then we had Uchumi and Nakumatt. Many foreign companies have exited Uganda. We can spend billions trying to replace the foreign companies that were sweet talked into investing in Uganda. 1/3

These are soldiers, top civil servants and successful businesspersons. This is Kololo. But look at the indiscipline of driving on the grass. Look at the dirty driveway. This is the best of NRM. Indisciplined. Total disregard for order. Lack of class. Guerrilla mentality.

One way to explain the recent spate of kidnappings and human rights atrocities is the NRA in NRM trying to re-invent themselves by doing what brought them to power. They don’t know any other way to govern without using violence and fear. 1/4

Sometimes you need a bit of pride to be an effective competitor. If our neighbors have good roads, good schools and good hospitals, why not us? Where is the pride? What do we have to show off? Guns?

The tweets by the nbs journalist referencing ADF are NRM propaganda. ADF has been blamed by the NRM for everything without any proof. It’s diversionary antics by the regime. There is no rebel group that stages a successful operation and doesn’t claim responsibility.
