#InflationJan25 Tomato prices recorded an increase to 3.5% in January 2025 from -14.4% recorded in December 2024. Irish potatoes inflation increased to 17.4% in January compared to 11.7% of December. Avocado inflation increased to 11.2% from -5.2% registered in December 2024.

Drivers of the annual core inflation included annual services inflation that increased to 6.3% from the 6.1% recorded in December 2024. The annual other goods inflation increased to 2.5% in January 2025 from 2.2% recorded in December 2024.
