Ian Evatt pointed out quite rightly that Barnsley were in the c/ship last season while we were 9th having been in Lge 2 the year before yet in a short time, the only difference between the sides was a goal & narrow victory. We're on the up & we'll only get better.

Totally agree! I'm a BWFC fan & been watching them trying to get promoted from Lge 2 (albeit via ifollow). The reason we're there was coz of the actions & behaviour of 1 man (owner) even while we were in admin. He isn't here now but everyone who is has had to pick up the pieces.

Barnsley fans - if you wanted more than 2,000 away tickets for this Saturday, you should've brought more than that to the Unibol before for lge games except you didn't & we ended up with a whole empty lower tier, South stand. This time we can fill it ourselves so we are doing.🤔

If we'd lost y/day, we'd have dropped down to 8th yet coming off the back of losing 2 central defenders for what cld be the rest of this season, I wldn't even have been able to criticise anyone for the defeat. It just makes the win even bigger & even more important.

It's heart warming that BWFC are still playing like we can still be promoted even tho' there's nowt to play for. Even if we were on the brink of summat, Sadlier might still've missed a sitter 1st half & we might still've made an error for their goal but we'd have still won.👍

BWFC weren't able to renew ST's at that pt coz they were in administration so there was nothing in place to enable fans to do that. The means to renew ST's didn't come into effect till October of that season.🤔

Booked for 10.30am coach but got to station ridiculously early so hoped to get on 9.30am time but saw queue & thought no chance, except they'd put on 2 coaches due to demand so not only are we on our way earlier than expected, it's an express service. 👍👍

We've got a good 'un but then again, we have good owners as well. We're an example of owners backing their manager, supporting them & allowing them to develop yet w/o necessarily throwing money at 'em for players. As a result, he's been allowed to improve & be a success.

When we beat Sunderland last season, it was in part coz they were masters of their own downfall that day but y/day, I don't think Wycombe did that much wrong, at least there didn't appear to be any obv errors that we just capitalised on. We were just the better team y/day.

We were reborn under the new ownership tbf. Ian Evatt has done a good job as well but if the new owners hadn't stuck by him despite our poor start & in fact got rid of the DoF role & put him in sole charge, I'm sure we wldn't be where we are now.👍
