I would argue that all abortions after 20 weeks involve medical issues. No one is walking into their 20 week appointment asking for an abortion… they’re in there hoping the tests come out showing a healthy baby. Women and their doctors deserve our privacy and trust.

Some abortions have nothing to do with the baby at all… some women are physically unable to carry to term despite their ability to get pregnant. Hyperemesis, autoimmune diseases, cancer, all of these things may require an abortion.
