That's like that joke in Austin Powers where they're driving in the countryside, and he says something like, 'isn't funny how the English countryside looks in no way like Southern California?' and it's plainly obvious it's Southern California.

I feel like Arnold has an appreciation for film as an art. It feels like the Rock just cares about his image and his status as a star.
@opinonhaver
If you're good to your kid and are a good parent they will have nothing to say to healthcare providers privately, and if alone they wouldn't say anything, so you would have nothing to worry about if you're that parent.

Yeah, the prints themselves shouldn't be radioactive at all. The negatives is what you would have the worry about. The prints for all we know could've been developed in San Diego.

Got it. The tape he recorded some of their filming T2 is the same tape he ended up recording the beating of Rodney King. Back when people had to use physical film/videotape and you weren't done with it until you used all your shots/time on the tape.

A commute includes waiting for pedestrians and cyclists, if you're not including those wait times you haven't thought about your commute correctly.

What is everyone talking about... You can totally see Affleck in his daughter's face, she actually looks more clearly like Affleck's kid than Garner's kid. Wtf.
@DanStapleton
Mass by definition doesn't change with gravity. Your question would make sense if it was measured in pounds (a measure of force) which changes with gravity.
This fact is something they pound into STEM majors heads in college.
@IwriteOK
I think it would have made it abundantly clear how serious the attempted insurrection was, and more people would have turned against Trump. Because only one protester died, people think it wasn't that serious, nothing really happened.

Then you really didn't need to overtake that cyclist then did you? You didn't get there any faster than they did. And they are in fact not delaying you at all

Jesus Christ streamers need to get this sorted out. Movies, especially classics, where the ending is critical up to the credits and through the credits, not to fucking ruin it right at the end. Figure out what movies those are and not fuck it up.

The problem is that older generations got to have their latte and also an IRA. They didn't have to choose.

Of course, I meant they would have nothing to say about their parent. Which is why as a parent you shouldn't worry if they talk to healthcare providers in private. It would be suffocating if you could not have that privacy at that age, if you wanted it.
@DTallmage
@opinonhaver
The post is about healthcare providers, not police. And the issue is giving a child a chance to talk to them privately *if they want to*, it is not a warrantless search.

It's so dumb too, because it's just in there to give Rey some more conflict and seem to be more tempted by the dark side. She could be tempted regardless! You could have the same exact story without it!

Yeah, that puts into words what I was trying to say. Arnold wanted to make *good* movies, he didn't just want to appear to be this superman god in everything he ever made (hence why he took a risk playing a bad guy as the Terminator).
@KMiksovsky
@Pflax1
Cyclists never hold up traffic any more than cars hold up traffic. Usually less, because they have their own lanes, and if they don't and take up a lane of traffic, the speed limit is generally 15-25mph anyway! Way more frustrated by other cars than by cyclists when I drive.

It's hilarious how many drinks everyone has in the first 30 minutes of Casablanca. Also Bogart later gets blackout drunk, and then apologizes to Ilsa for being in that "condition" the next day.

Don't like it really. Looks like a generic modern poster where someone (amateur artist online) is trying to overly clever and cute.

Kylo Ren benefiting too, stopping a blaster bolt on mid air. Vader couldn't do that, he had to block shots with his robotic hands in Empire. And in canon, Kylo is not as trained as Vader, as demonstrated by his and Finn's brute lightsaber technique.

Also the Holdo maneuver is explained in TRoS as like one in a million. There were the exact right conditions the First Order let their guard down, and Holdo's ship was just close enough for it to work.

Trucks like that, and lifted trucks in general, should be illegal unless they are owned by a business and required for the work. And should only be allowed to be driven by someone with a commercial license.
