Lynne, this is antithetical to the second amendment. The second amendment is not as commonly expressed “the right to bear arms,” but rather limiting the government from making any rules about the citizenry bearing arms. Additionally Walz has said that that 1A “isn’t absolute.”
It is a false choice to suggest you are either in favor of the Second Amendment or you want to take everyone’s guns away.
I am in favor of the Second Amendment — and I am in favor of an assault weapons ban, universal background checks, and red flag laws.
