It can be really hard on men to not be circumcised. Every guy I've met who was circumcised, was glad to be circumcised. But most uncircumcised men I have spoken to have wished that they were circumcised at birth.

i don’t think it’s consider mutilating? he is a baby and it won’t hurt for long. in the future i believe he will be made fun of for it or atleast be embarrassed about it it’s a normal thing to do. plus i if it’s uncut, he is at more of a risk for infections than a circumsized one

I’m a nursery care RN, and I’ve been in a lot of circumcisions. The way I’ve seen it done, the babies don’t even cry. My husband is, and he wanted all our 5 sons - I’m glad we did - boys are just stinky and dirty as it is.

In Muslim countries too they usually do within the first month. Easy, painless, quick to heal. As a doctor I have circumcised hundreds of male babies.

Sorry, but no elephant trunks for my boys. I have my reasons why we decided to circumcise and it's from experience working at a daycare (the boys that were uncircumcised had a lot of UTIs and rashes) as well as advice given to me by other men.

The penis does stay cleaner when circumcised, not circumcising a boy can lead to different issues later on, So a lot of parents do it because it is hygienically cleaner, and most men I’ve talked to about this are happy that they are circumcised.

My cousin was with an uncircumcised man. He was a foreigner. She’s now with a white guy with a normal circumcised penis. She said the sex is much better. Her ex had trouble because of all the loose foreskin & was talking about being circumcised, but too chicken to have it done.

Literally lol. When I circumcise my son, it’ll be because I love him. Having experienced both, I know he’s better off circumcised, and it’ll be easier at birth. I know what the AAP and CDC say, and that I’ll be doing him a favor rather than foisting it onto him to deal with later

You're kidding, right? Circumcision has absolutely no impact on a man's sexuality and is done for numerous health reasons. The AAP says the benefits far outweigh the risks. FGM, on the other hand, destroys a woman's ability to enjoy sex and that's the point of it.

We all know circumcision is a choice, any doctor gives you the option after birth. With many women I know personally had their boys circumcised for hygienic purposes, and those that didn't immediately after birth, did later on because of repeat infections.

Male circumcision is healthier. My wife is an ER nurse and has told me that some of the most disgusting infections she's seen are in the foreskin of old men who are unable to keep themselves clean enough. Also, it reduces the transmission of HIV.

My mom didn't circumcise my oldest brother who for medical reasons had to get circumcised at seven which was awful. When my twin little brothers were born she circumcised them to prevent that small chance of awful from occuring again. This overblown.

I knew a woman who was middle aged and had a baby a bit later in life. She didn’t have him circumcised because she thought it was cruel but he wound up getting such a rotten infection that he had to be circumcised at 6 years old 🤢

Absolutely. I asked my kids if they would have not wanted to be circumcised and they both said no. Uncircumcised boys in their schools got made fun of. I worked NICU and assisted on many. The baby was always fine. Hardly cried.

This is a big part of why I will always circumcise at birth. I've actually seen the procedure performed and most boys don't even notice it. They numb the area first with a topical medication and then they inject a local. There is no bleeding, no crying, and no stitches.

Male circumcision also helps in the Prevention of something called “phimosis” (the inability to retract the foreskin of the penis) and it also prevents “paraphimosis” (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).
If you have the option as a parent, pls do it.

I did my research on the thing, and circumcising an adult is far more dangerous than an 8-day old infant, because on the 8th day from birth children have highest prothrombin level to help clotting and alleviate pain. It's why some babies circumcised on the 8th day don't even cry
