Your argument could also be applied easily to girls to justify violating their rights with FGM as well. In fact this is one of the most prevent arguments FGM proponents use.

@angelaira @sgtkwol The "reason" why circumcision was popularized in the US was that during the sexually repressive Victorian era they circumcised kids because it greatly desensitizes the penis and makes it more difficult to masturbate and much less pleasurable.

When an intact penis is aroused the skin pulls back to the shaft & appears like a circumcised penis. Circumcision forces the penis to always appear aroused.
