I absolutely agree with preventing parents from commanding Drs to perform elective cosmetic surgery on minors. Children can't consent to elective cosmetic surgery.

@whatever We spend billions on it. In any other case, reaping profit from elective, non-medical surgery on healthy, non-consenting individuals constitutes medical fraud. That's billions that could be put to better use. @DOGE should cut funds for this & all medically unnecessary surgery.

The risks of male infant #circumcision include infection, loss of penis, hemorrhage and death. Even if a child survives, circumcision removes the most sensitive part of the penis, and the exposed glans and mucosa become keratinized, resulting in further desensitization.

I don't think any parent wants their kids to be unattractive, that's 1 thing. It's quite another to have a Dr do surgical mods *you* find attractive. Even if a girl wanted boobs & a labiaplasty, I hope parents would like their daughters to make informed decisions 4 themselves.
