Back in the days when I was a (very friendly) copper I had to arrest a well-known Geordie drunk. From the back of the van he kept screaming ‘Fucking Wheelchair Police!’ at me, which was weird. Wasn’t until I got to custody that I realised he was upset at ‘Wiltshire’ Police.

I was a (v nice) Police Officer for 13yrs. Dealt with 1000s of cases of domestic abuse and assault, including sexual assault. You know how many perpetrators were Trans? Zero. I often spoke to Trans folk as victims, sadly.

I was a Police Officer for 13 years. Our canteen wasn’t subsidised. In fact it was outsourced to a company run by a Tory party donor. For the same price Ben’s paying for squid with garlic aioli and paprika chickpeas I could’ve got myself two slices of toast with marmite.

Certainly in the UK we no longer have a government. We have a ruling class who are so rich they can make economic policy decisions knowing it won’t ever affect them. It’s govt of the rich, for the rich backed by the rich.
