@monitoringbias Factually speaking, isn't that simply correct? You might think that this is regrettable, but it's undeniably a fact that the only people talking about "white pride" are in fact the worst kind of racists. These silly cheap shots undermine your credibility, so stop.

@Peter_Nimitz What's a name that isn't perfectly translatable into English? Pretty much everything can be translated just fine, but we still talk about Sinn Fein, Rodina, Ciudadanos (RIP), etc., so it's not like all the Arab names are left untranslated out of sheer orientalism.

@kareem_carr Bruh, it's not a criminal trial. How would you even go about "proving intent"? Come on. Everyone knows you need to be extremely careful about citations. If you copy and paste somebody else's text (even changing a word or two) without indicating that, it's plagiarism.

@aquaimperium8 As Gibbon pointed out long ago, people were killed over an iota: whether, as the Arians believed, Jesus was ὁμοιούσιος ("of similar nature [to God]") or ὁμοούσιος ("of the same nature"), as in the Nicene Creed. It's hard for us to understand a world so different.

@tonyannett "No addictive qualities whatsoever" is not really a fair assessment. Check any of the classic benzos (valium, xanax, ambien, etc.) on Wikipedia and you'll see they all have moderate or high dependency and addiction liability. Same as or worse than alcohol, amphetamines, ecstasy.
