"No addictive qualities whatsoever" is not really a fair assessment. Check any of the classic benzos (valium, xanax, ambien, etc.) on Wikipedia and you'll see they all have moderate or high dependency and addiction liability. Same as or worse than alcohol, amphetamines, ecstasy.

Why would they need to station troops, much less "monumental" numbers? The Ukrainian military is winning as we speak, and imagine how strong they could be after peace, reconstruction and more (perhaps "monumental" amounts of) western weapons and equipment. Why are troops needed?

Silly example. The Spanish colonized lots of countries that today have quite different cuisines: they don't eat alike in Colombia and Argentina, for example. If anything, Mexico is the *most* different from most of Latin America (not very spicy). If it's all Spain, why is this?

Obviously depends entirely on how you define the word "Aryan". Non-dravidian Indians could by one definition quite fairly be called Aryan, but they're not especially white (the other typical definition of "Aryan"). So much unnecessary confusion follows from not defining terms

As an ex-linguist and now economist, "privilege seeking" hits the perfect spot for me. A privilege etymologically is a law that concerns/benefits an individual, as opposed to a law that's a general rule that applies equally to everyone. Even has the right negative connotations!

Have you read Rodney Stark's The Rise of Christianity? It's a very plausible (and readable) sociological account of how Christianity grew by fulfilling such social needs much better than Roman paganism. As a non-believer, I found it fascinating and convincing.
