"Derogation - exemption from or relaxation of a rule or law."
Derogation is never "great news", especially when it comes to relaxing nitrates management at expense of water quality. It only demonstrates IRL has (once again) failed to implement good environmental practice.
Great news today that we have secured the Nitrates Derogation until 2025 with a midterm review in 2023.
The Derogation is an important tool to support productive farming.
The new Derogation has a range of measures with higher levels of ambition to improve our water quality.

just now & the need to "consult communities", Gment DID go through public consultation on this last year AND has been doing so for past 30yrs. Please stop using "bring people with us" as an excuse to delay.
