On mission in Sweden today. I stand with my Swedish counterparts and the victims of the horrific event that took place this Tuesday.
Today our flags fly at half-mast in solidarity with the Swedish people after the Örebro mass shooting. Our hearts and thoughts are with the families of the victims. Vi är med er.

We have announced actions to ensure safe & sustainable e-Commerce imports. We want to tackle the risks caused by low-value imports sold via non-EU online retailers. In 2024 alone 4.6 billion low-value goods entered the 🇪🇺 market - that’s almost 12 million parcels per day.

What happened today in Örebro is truly horrifying. Such violence and terror have no place in our societies—least of all in schools. In this dark hour, we stand with the people of Sweden. Our thoughts are with the victims, and we wish them strength and a swift recovery.
