Took the advice of @jamesbourke13 and sprayed some paddocks with milk in the hope of feeding soil bacteria. To say I'm shocked with the response would be an understatement. Grazed 20 days. Sprayed 19 days. Last N application was the first week of April. Will be doing more.

We have been selectively breeding cows to produce 6 teats instead of 4. Cows with 6 teats can produce 50% more than their peers. Peer reviewed data suggests 6 titters produce milk with a much lower carbon footprint, meaning it's good for the farmer & good for the planet.
