Everything I post / like on any platform is my own personal/private view, that absolutely never represents any other person or organisation | Ex Police🇬🇧 🇰🇳
I am not speaking on behalf of
@WecopsCaroline
at all. But simply representing as she won’t say it herself.
A few years back - a new promoted Caz was sharing concerns & a lack of female representation.
Now years as an experienced PO commander, she’s addressing that gap. 👏

I & colleague deployed, almost lost my life.
It needs to change.

Not quite the point here. They have capacity. They had resources. They decided it is not worth it and binned the request. Hence my utter disbelief and disappointment.

Met to Essex. Challenging but settles in time.
Best moment first shift on a Lt response as duty skipper and I declared 3 critical’s (in Essex critical’s go to force Gold so it’s not common)
I asked control link in with LAS
‘Sorry Sgt we can’t link into their channels’

Last 7 days I’ve started a new health kick and refocus due to not just my physical health but also because I had realign my mental health too.
Redundancy is never easy to accept but I’m focused to be a better me.
Over a stone lost and I feel 100 x better.
Let’s go!!!
This detain, targeted strikes and arrest should be commended and shared across OST on how good tactics and restraint looks like.
@KelvinJRobbins
Well done to that officer. 👏
@Kieran_altview
😯 these examples just keep getting worse and even more shocking for me. I know the demands, pressures and challenges but a crime is a crime.
Horrible to see my first and local station alight. I believe everyone is all safe thanks to the heroic people enacting emergency procedures.
Just horrible to see 😔
The blaze at Forest Gate Police Station appears to be getting bigger with smoke now bellowing into the sky.
Fire Brigade have put up huge Spotlights in order to help fight the blaze.
Ongoing operation.

@BTPChief
Disgusted to see this. When I and many others celebrate Karen’s appointment DUE TO HERA rare leadership style that is needed across policing and someone who has and is doing so much for policing.
Haters know where they can go.
Great birthday surprise from work, who are also sponsors of

Met all the players but didn’t want to burden them all with a selfie before their training.
Very blessed to be in a career I’m in.
A busy week and one that is my 1 year anniversary of battling depression and learning how to navigate the redundancy impact which I have never experience before.
However - all of this (hard to see at the time) makes you stronger, happier & more successful.
Here’s to life 🖐️ ☀️

Thank you to everyone who attended today. But truly to Naga for your absolute genuine care, fun & emotion (she didn’t cry, honestly!!!) to celebrating all the hero’s!
@KeyurKiwi
@metpoliceuk
Congratulations! Great to see Sean Wilson too. But a serious question is you were acting inspector prior to WBA sign off? If so that is poor on the met.
It isn’t about your competency as I don’t know that but it’s about putting you in that situation prior to your training.
A true policing hero & champion of what we need in our future leaders.

I can’t fit it all into a tweet but shared some personal thoughts -

Today I remember
@jamaledwards
as yesterday would have been his 33rd birthday.
Jamal was someone who didn’t need fame or media coverage to do good. This time 6 years ago, Jamal DM’d me & we met in NSY with my boss who was in charge of Notting Hill Carnival.
He spoke. I listened

Spoke to many ex colleagues who attended this tragic incident today.
As

& many others say, everyone who puts a uniform on to protect each of us, on or off duty, is a hero.
God bless the victims, the 14 year old poor boy & my two colleagues in hospital critical now.
Hainault Update | Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe confirms 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder.
This was a fast-moving, complex incident and it will take us some time to establish the facts. This will be our priority in the coming days.

It isn’t fair to make any racial claim until a find out by thorough investigation without any bias to the fact.
I’m afraid (and I’ve called it out on other incidents) I do feel it was too soon to do so without the facts. And this rebuttal is obvious & clear.Await final outcome.
@DameLynneOwens
You have led an entire different view point + value of engagement since NCA and now MPS in my view, including the personal & professional mixtures, which let’s be honest must be draining.
Do what’s right for you/ family/health/wellbeing but know you’ve led incredible change here
Someone I completely admire and someone who has saved me many times.
I’m so pleased your health is on top form now ma’am and you’re continuing the work with Sir Mark
Congratulations

Dame Lynne Owens has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of the Met.
She said: "I'm pleased to return to policing to support the Commissioner, the wider leadership and our hardworking officers, staff and volunteers in protecting and serving London."
Really touched to have been nominated for the

Honestly. I don’t know how to really write this post but I must start with the incredible people who have believed in me.
Policing never truly leaves you. No matter how happy you’re when you leave - it’s amazing to get a taste of being back in a different capacity.
The amazing people, their values and passions to make a positive difference, or call out wrongdoing, has really hit me since returning.
Happy

weekend to you all, and for those working, thank you 🙏🏽

What’s worrying Omer is the colleagues I’ve lost over the years due to mental health, those with injuries, those who have taken their life’s on duty (two) and current and ex officers like me who still receive support due to incidents or assaults.
Your tweet is disgusting.
Congratulations to all those who passed the MPS inspector process and for those who didn’t, always push on.
My best mate passed and I’m just so chuffed for him!

@redhairedcop
Can I just say. One the officer speaking up about this deserves a real pat on the back. Long gone are the times of not speaking up.
Secondly. It’s a well used tactic especially by SLT previously
Thirdly. This is why I have so much hope for the met with ma’am and sir in post. 👏

The best Commander I know of currently in the met and nationally a true expert in people and PO leadership. Well done you Karen but I know so much will be sad to see you leave the Met.
First and foremost, incredible (+) work from KG/EA officers. Incredible.
We however need to move away from posting weapons on SM.
Lastly - The public health approach now will follow in parallel with youth justice (I know the Director & Head v v well at LBBD). We need to divert!

@Broadsword999
@PcExhausted
I agree with that. It’s a horrible posting but as an inspector who held pace and custody responsibilities, and included several serious near misses I get it.
As a PC or Sgt, no I totally didn’t agree with it.
@Haggis_UK
The Commissioner and
@DameLynneOwens
absolutely have my and many others support.
This line of questioning is shocking, unprofessional and totally incorrect. Sir Mark is totally spot on.
Today I remember my first OST instructor and a true legend, Mr ‘Mad’ John Harding from Newham.
A legend of KF and one who will always be in many of our eyes.
John thank you, you have been dismissed with incredible thanks.
Announcement | Death of Sergeant Graham Saville
It is with great sadness that Nottinghamshire Police confirms the death of a serving officer in the line of duty.
@gmhales
@obbsie
I was there Gavin and I’ve refrained from commenting on the recent incident but it is wholly dangerous and the actions by those officers would not have been easy and absolutely justified.
This incident you share also resulted in numerous changes in checks but a scary time.
No photo attached which is brilliant and in my view doesn’t devalue the hard and brilliant heroism and work.
Great work and thank you for not adding a photo 👏

Eid Mubarak to you all.

Absolutely heartbreaking as someone who worked with many people and leaders to reform this vital work and culture.

are here, and faith they will root out and delivery for all of London.
