Unbelievable how many commentators on knife crime are silent on #Countylines CHILD CRIMINAL EXPLOITATION as a key driver. You won't fix knife crime if you're unaware of or won't acknowledge #CCE - UK's the most common form of CHILD SLAVERY & TRAFFICKING.

Understanding Financial Exploitation & Cyber Fraud: Protecting Young People Back end of 2024, practitioners working with young people in supported accommodation took part in a crucial workshop on financial exploitation, counter fraud, and cyber fraud education, delivered by @AbdulKarimSPW. Young people, particularly those in vulnerable situations, are increasingly targeted by those who exploit their financial insecurity; whether through fraud, money laundering (such as "money muling"), or online scams. These crimes can have devastating consequences, leaving young people in financial distress, with criminal records, and at risk of further exploitation. By equipping practitioners with the knowledge and tools to identify risks, educate young people, and prevent harm, this workshop plays vital role in safeguarding their futures. A huge thank you to Adbul-Karim for leading this session and for his continued commitment to protecting young people from financial exploitation.
