15U National Championship. Hit .438 vs some great competition including this single to center off a 3-2 count. We made it out of bracket play and into the final 96. Also had 3 appearances on the mound only allowing 2 runs in 8 1/3 innings.

I always try to play smart baseball. Saw 3B hanging deep and knew the pitcher always threw a first pitch fastball so I dropped the bunt for a base hit.

I'm convinced. Magruder is absolutely for real. They beat Blair tonight 5-1 with a 4 run breakout in the 6th inning. The scariest thing is how young they are. In the starting lineup, three sophomores (Grain, Pettus, Headen) and two freshman (Strahan, Silva).

Great first outing of the year yesterday in frigid conditions. 3 inning complete game (mercy), 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 SO, & 1 BB.
On the day we went 2-0, outscoring opponents 21-1 in pool play.
Unfortunately todays games were cancelled due to wind and cold.
