They still can’t shut up about 4 people dead in Benghazi as if she personally killed each of them with her emails.
At 16,000 COVID deaths, Republicans would set her on fire in Lafayette park. CNN say it’s “controversial” to burn a POTUS alive but 🤷🏻♂️
@JamesSurowiecki
counter point - she can do whatever the f*** she wants. After a million investigations, it's clear she did not actually misuse any classified information. Or did you miss that?
@DalrympleWill
Did Khan give notice to civilians to move out of the way?
The destruction is horrific and the loss of life is devastating- but why then resort to hyperbole?? Look at your replies - it’s all Jew hatred
@UAWeapons
They ask the prisoner if he’s wounded. He says yes, in the leg, and start crying. One 🇺🇦 says “all good” to him, which I took as “no worries”. The other 🇺🇦 says “if I wanted to waste you, I’d have done it by now” which meant to reassure the captive I guess?
@ZackBornstein
Dems are about to pass a $2T stimulus bill which, among other things, funds the exchanges making insurance affordable and cuts childhood poverty in half.
But memes!

Views from a Ukrainian village, devastated more than in 1943. “The other war was not as bad. Then all they had were a rifle, a machine gun, and maybe Katyusha rockets. Now, with the weapons that they have, they are just leveling everything.”
The man behind the Lincoln Project's viral social media, Keith Edwards, on how the super PAC has generated social media success, and whether what he's doing is trolling.
I love that at the end she says that some of her countrymen may be stressed and traumatized and so they may be rude, and she’s apologizing to the poles on their behalf 😭
Everyone knows that we're facing a real crisis from the coronavirus. But do you know how we got here and what we need to do next? Ron Klain, former White House Ebola Response Coordinator, breaks it down for us:

Message is the same as the mass arrests: Hamas is failing, order in Gaza is crumbling and Hamas isn’t in control anymore. Message to Hezbollah is deterrence. Whether it’s effective, time will tell. But that’s the purpose.
@JewishWonk
She was asked whether she believes Israel has a right to exist and she said yes. She found the calls for intifada personally abhorrent. She’s hardly an anti-Zionist
@DalrympleWill
That statement only makes sense if you have already forgotten what happened on Oct 7. That was actual genocidal fantasies carried out by a side!
@IzaTabaro
my grandmother was rounded up in the doctors plot in 1952/3, as a young resident in Ukraine. She was accused of spreading bubonic plague. Got out alive only by chance.

But the main problem is that the press views everything HRC does as suspicious, by default. There's got to be a nefarious reason 4/
@JewishWonk
he was excellent on the idea of Russian being protected— with every day of the war, fewer and fewer people in 🇺🇦 will want to speak Russian, and the bonds may be irreparably broken
I honestly don't understand this either.
Step 1: Conquer Ukraine
Step 2: Put in a crony to run the government
Step 3: Maintain control via massive occupying force?
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Russia is great
??
2) So what will Putin achieve? He will temporarily own the regime in the Ukraine, something reversible since it's not regognized by other countries.
And he impoverished his population. This is sort of how the Russians, now hurt in their wallet, see it.
Kanye, Chapelle, Irving gave license to other antisemites to voice their antisemitic beliefs publicly, and with much support from twitter followers— who like and RT these posts by the thousands
Applied to Israel, the “colonizer” label fails in more ways than it succeeds. Colonial stereotype is invading white occupiers, but Israel is v diverse, multihued society. Both Isr & Pal peoples r historically indigenous & neither has anywhere else to go
@nycsouthpaw
In this particular case, I'm not sure what Dems could be doing differently. It's a 50-50 split, and Dems will have Chairmanships and will set the agenda. Tied votes will go to full Senate, where Kamala can break the tie. Sounds reasonable to me
Zelensky, an ex-Soviet Jew, addressing Congress and rallying for liberty against tyranny.
I am bursting with unwarranted ethnic pride at what he and all Ukrainians have accomplished in the face of Russian barbarism.
Slava Ukraini. Chanukah Sameach.

1. not all his money, and prob not even all the money he earns in a year
2. He’s pouring hundreds of millions into anti trump ads drowning out Rs.
3. Let’s not psychoanalyze him and just say thanks for helping to take down DT. We need all the help we can get

really? her job is to dig up an unrelated tweet from years ago and ask the senator to react to it, like it's Mean Girls or something? come on.
To correct my earlier tweet — the context for the 🇺🇦 defense minister wasn’t to address Israelis, it was directed at - this is real - an association of trivia players - but his words about Israel’s neutrality being inexplicable are correct.
@ashleyfeinberg
Me. A person who cares about what’s in the bill. $1.8T in tax cuts republicans want is different from the same amount but in targeted relief spending Dems want. It’s not hard.
@daveweigel
Worth noting - they didn't have "cases" - Benghazi was not a legitimate "case" against Hillary any more than EMAILS were - but these were legitimized by hours of TV coverage and tons of ink in press coverage with reporters "asking questions" and "raising issues"
We could all use good news these days:
More than 500 folks marched in inaugural

what a great thread.
This is entirely consistent with my soviet education about the holocaust (which was close to nothing). I remember when my grandmother took me to Babi Yar when I was a kid, and pointed to the statue - you wouldn't know from it that 34,000 jews died there
I listened to
@ZelenskyyUa
's interview with
@FareedZakaria
on CNN. Fareed asked Zelensky about his family's history during the Holocaust, and it's so very clear to me that he has a Soviet understanding of that period. Which is to say, incomplete.
@neeratanden
They still think that criticizing Hillary gives them brownie points with the audience because she’s broadly unpopular and makes them seem “impartial”? Virtually no downside in attacking Hillary, except no one is paying attention to the substance. 2016 all over again.
As someone who was born in Kyiv, when it was still part of the Soviet Union, and grew up on Alla Pugacheva’s music, I’m proud and overjoyed to see her publicly speak out against Putin’s war. May her bravery inspire many other Estrada stars.
heartfelt congrats to

on this anniversary
my family arrived in America 29 years ago (next month) and the excitement, anxiety and pain of those first experiences in America is captured beautifully in his thread below

This happened just 80 years ago. My grandma is alive and though she doesn’t remember much, she remembered Leo and his family.
I was born only 38 years after Babi Yar. This all recent history and recent inter-generational trauma.
So on this day, more than ever,
