It IS the same thing. This is why I take every opportunity to tell parents that modeling consent starts with us. If your child doesn’t want a hug, or a kiss from Great-Uncle Smellsodd, then don’t force it on them. Kids learning that their own “No” matters helps them hear others.

I will say again: the idea that you have to fall in love with a politician to support them is a contemporary notion that arose alongside increasing suffrage. It is a manipulative tactic used to suppress voter turnout. The ONLY thing that should matter is who's best for the job.
People need to get this idea that political leaders need to captivate them out of their heads. There aren't many Barack Obamas out. There are, however, quite a few very intelligent and knowledgeable patriots who want to make the country a better place.

Correction: neither of the wives Newt cheated on was "dying," per se. The first was recovering from cancer when he told her he wanted a divorce, and the second was in the early stages of MS when he told her he wanted an "open marriage." When she didn't agree, he divorced her.
