ICAI has surprisingly kept the schedule unchanged. Even now, in cities, it is not easy to travel due to rallies, police checking etc. The sound of rallies is deafening etc. Students travel longer distances to write exams. Hope they are able to conduct exams smoothly.

Exams were held in Nov & Jan. so that should not be a challenge. And the fact that elections were due was known to all. A better planning would have helped all those who are impacted!

In an era where we talk about AI, this is regressive. A better approach would be to have a computer-based examination with all resources as pdf. That is what a CA would do in real life.

They dont allow you to book on platform because, any ticketless traveller will book when there is a checking going on. You cannot be on a platform and book ticket.

These are DSAs and banks will take their hands off stating that they have not asked these agents to call. Once you receive a call and say not interested, other agents start dialing. So only solution is to either state that you already have taken the loan/card/policy or not take

it took about 1hr38min to clear all those formalities. I even showed them my admit card they were laughing - Hum kaise vishwas kar lein.All bags even our laptops were checked as it was part of their SOPs.
I was late by 15 min in exam hall.

Lot of tweets around how this momo seller is giving a better salary than an engineering graduate can earn. Well in 5 years, the engineer can move from 25k to 2 lakhs a month. I doubt if the helper can.

Since its a 2 week long exam period, these would be genuine issues which students would face.
I didn't take my exams in 2019/2014.I was staying in a hostel&all hostels in Hyderabad were closed 2days before elections.This will impact those who were preparing for exams&these problems will only be understood by those who stay in hostels

Sikkim has only one center - Gangtok. Not everyone stays in Gangtok. It would easily take up to 8 hours to reach gangtok from some parts of Sikkim. Very remote scenarios though.

ICAI can bring so-called exam reforms but what is preventing them from bringing the most required reform - Rechecking of answer papers? If required collect Rs. 500 per paper, but give them the right to get the marks they deserve. Remove examiners who lack mind application.
