Because the facts don't satisfy the requirements of the laws attached to the charges. If you're surprised by this it's likely that you consume media sources that have been committed to distorting the facts.

Imagine thinking most people care about “validation” as much as you do. He was acquitted, exonerated, and justified; all of which are exponentially more valuable and important than “validation”.
@DavidAFrench
It was already in Kenosha and he had as much right to be in Kenosha as every other person there that night.
If you're going to take a position and broadcast it publicly, it probably deserves more thought than what went into this tweet.
@DrewHolden360
This is absolute peak projection. His entire approach hinges on being so irrationally afraid of COVID that he cannot imagine anyone else having a rational level of concern about it.
@shelly2161

Yeah. Why would people be more likely to believe an actual expert in an actually relevant field over a museum staffer turned journalist?
It must be because of bigotry.

You clearly don’t understand the law and haven’t followed this case. Rittenhouse doesn’t even have to prove it was self defense, the state has to prove it wasn’t; they’ve been objectively unable to do that along with being unable to show provocation.
“Brainwashed” you say? 🤡

It’s not a question of “deserve”. Actions have consequences, deserved or not.
When you aggressively enter the space of another human being who has no idea what levels of violence you’re capable of, you’re taking a huge risk.
@jbook37
A big part of Bama's edge during Saban's tenure has been in exploiting rules in recruiting, signing, and roster management that other teams could not (oversigning, medical hardship waivers, and not renewing scholarships).
He has ALWAYS complained when anyone else finds an edge.
@CFBNerds
What you’re saying is also a false equivalency, though.
The shelf life on coaching is very very long and the early value of coaches is low until they prove otherwise.
Athletes have a short shelf life and high school performance is a strong indicator of college success.
@David_Leavitt
You find a judge upholding the law on the basis of facts disgusting?
Go ahead and say the quiet part out loud: "If I don't think someone should do a thing, it should be illegal. If it's not illegal, they should still be convicted and punished. My preferences should be law."
@RachelBitecofer
@_BarringtonII
Any educational background that would result in a person unironically claiming that we're in a "Biden boom" can be dismissed with prejudice outright.
@CFBNerds
Ohio State had to do it in Ann Arbor against a team that scouts them more than any other opponent and lost on field goals in a game where one call would have made the difference in the score.
If that’s not teed up for Bama I don’t know what is.
@PlanetDemise
@monitoringbias
You think being independent and following the data puts one middle?
That seems to presuppose a very linear model of truth and popular opinion that doesn’t reflect reality.
In reality, most people derive political views through motivated reasoning driven by tribal priors.
@eyeslasho
Procreation is the default.
Not everyone wants to.
Not everyone that wants to can.
But a growing movement that pressures people to oppose the most basic human imperative AND results in unhappy outcomes for people that have historically few excuses to be unhappy…prob bad.

I’m not enraged; I simply think lazy academics with laughable ideas being given a platform magnitudes greater than their ideas merit is problematic.
It’s naked evidence of a colonized power infrastructure.

Are you implying that you will be disappointed when justice is done on the basis of evidence? Is there some other standard or process you would prefer? Should CNN and MSNBC talking heads decide whether or not people are guilty and hand down judgment?

You aren't even a LITTLE bit embarrassed that you knew so little about the facts of this case that you managed to make a claim so hilariously false that you were required to tuck your tail and apologize for it twice on national television? 🤷

Despite there being tens of thousands of professional burger servers in the US, I can still get a better one at home. Not everyone who gets paid to do something is achieving better outcomes than I can.

I've played a few games competitively and Madden is BY FAR the smallest skill gap. And the ONLY one where pro and pub meta is identical.
Maybe you're defining "casual" as someone who has absolutely no idea what they're doing? But, even so, put a first-timer in a DOTA 2 match...

Not since:
- Both schools had full teams
- The world wars
- The legalization of the forward pass
But sure, back in the olden days when Michigan had a real team that played club teams with 12-15 players on them...they were very competitive.

I grew up extremely poor and could give my family the same standard of living that I had by working 5 hours a week as a single

Instead I work closer to full time so we can have a better life.

OSU was so clearly the better team in that game and it required bad call after bad call to get Clemson back into it.
Worst reffed game I've ever watched.

I think all domestic airlines are essentially equally bad and people’s opinions of some being significantly better than others are mostly based on the luck of not having had bad experiences with certain airlines…yet.

Designing stadiums to be artificially loud is something that should probably be regulated by the sport.
If it was just some magic with a fanbase beings super loud, sure great.
Getting an actual competitive advantage from your architecture? Weird that it's allowed.

You're objectively wrong on this point. It's not only clearly written in Wisconsin state law but it was also confirmed today by the judge and concurred with by the prosecution. Anything else?

This guy actually thinks "vs everybody" (which isn't the same or as cool as "against the world) was invented in Michigan? :D :D :D

Nope. This is an attempt at mass gaslighting. We knew PLENTY about Covid in 2020. In fact, most of what we know currently about Covid was already known in 2020.
Unless when you say “we” you mean what things politicians and journalists will publicly admit to.
@keshavs_journal
Cool. But none of what you’re saying here addresses the problem of accepting inferior candidates. We have aggregate data that shows how long term outcomes are compromised. You’re arguing from a conclusion but you’re not showing your work which lowers this to sophistry at best.

“Sometimes” is doing some VERY heavy lifting in this sentence.
Also, there isn’t a single “established medical perspective” and the predominant one in the US stands in opposition most of the first world.
There’s clearly a political impact on the US medical perspective.

You clearly aren’t familiar with the area. In northern Ohio we referred to it as “Cincitucky” for a reason.

I don’t believe this.
In general I find deterministic interpretations of scripture to be very long on assumption and historical priors and short on good explanations for why those interpretations are sound.

I’ve watched every single snap ever put on tape by Williams.
He’s an incredible risk and anyone saying otherwise is on the hype train.
All of Williams best moments have come vs bottom tier defenses and against every good defense he’s faced he’s generated a long lowlight reel.
@CFBNerds
I’ve been ridiculed for the last year telling people that they can’t judge Williams SOLELY on the absolute bottom tier defenses he has largely faced throughout his entire career.
His body of work against teams with competent defensive coordinators is miserable.

"NCAA Sanctions are coming"
- Correct. It won't happen until well after the season is over.
"NCAA is gonna drop the hammer"
- Probably.
"All your players will leave"

"Harbaugh's done"
- Show cause likely

He went from a near liability last season to putting together one of the best seasons at CB I've seen in a long time.
Not just coverage, his tackling in space and even bringing the hammer at times has been phenomenal.
