California just took a step toward mandating a woman on every company board. State legislators passed a bill that would require publicly-traded companies there to place at least 1 woman on their boards by the end of next year -- or face a penalty

Rifles still only account for about 3% of gun homicides.
Fewer people were killed by rifles in 2018 than in 2017.
Five times as many people were stabbed to death in 2018 than were shot to death with a rifle of any kind.

The duty of the judge is not "progress." It's faithful adherence to the Constitution and consistent interpretation/application of the law as it is, not as he thinks it should be.
If you don't like the law, Senator, then change it. That's YOUR job.
Americans should make it clear that they will not tolerate a nominee chosen from President Trump’s pre-ordained list, selected by powerful special interests, who will reverse the progress we have made over the decades.
