having helped to cover these ongoing strikes there’s no doubt about it, it’s way harder being an SHO now than it was even only 7 years ago. Too many patients with way too much paperwork, the medicine and surgery “decision making” takes 2 minutes, the admission paperwork an hour.

It’s fascinating. Essentially after you’ve removed the tumour you have to try to reconstruct without any of your usual landmarks to use. I’m not cut out for 12 hours scrubbed & I do miss my shiny hips and shiny knees but I’m pleased I came here and I’ve learnt an massive amount
