Over the moon that our Paediatric Hip Arthroplasty service with @RMCHosp won the Partnership and Integration award from the @NOAOrthopaedics This will help get the word out that THR in kids is a realistic and life changing option when all else has failed @FehilyAnne
A privilege for us to receive this on behalf of everyone behind the Paediatric Arthroplasty service run between @wrightington16 and @RMCHosp. None of this would be possible without @tim_n_board ‘s pioneering vision, hard work and dedication to complex patient care. @jonabarrow

41 years of composite beam loading of the femur with pretty decent looking bone. Another one from the great John Murphy from Wrightington. Socket is on the way out but if this had been XLPE it may well be still going strong. (with consent)
