I’m so proud of my church. We voted last night to allow a group from our community to use our space rent free & voted to let a Spanish church begin meeting in our fellowship hall. Our kids will be together in nursery and children’s church and we’ll have joint services monthly.

Both are biblical but purity culture seemed to overemphasis modesty and anti-purity culture seems to reject it.
I agree purity culture was spiritually toxic but I also believe modesty is biblical. Thoughts?

If a husband (or even worse, a pastor) is obsessing about his wife (or all the women in the church) submitting to him then he is ruling as an authoritarian. Love her (them) and nurture her (them) in the Word and she (and they) will follow you as you lead them closer to Christ.
