My dog is in final days of dying from cancer. The vet suggests I put him down. He doesn't appear to be in pain, but he breathes hard and just lays around. Ridiculously tough decision for me to just pick a day to take him to a vet to die. Anyone else been thru this?

Mission accomplished!
Roughly 6 months ago, I determined to run a marathon. I'm 42 and decided that (a) I admire people who achieve these difficult feats (b) I hate running and so naturally (c) I need to do this. It's been a grueling, painful, training period, but I persisted.
