Gates’ global influence pushed many institutions in a pro-lockdown direction. When COVID broke out, Gates sent tens of millions of dollars to the CCP to assist with China’s response, for which Xi wrote him a personal thank you. Xi would make sure that money went to good use. 158/

As someone who flys everywhere, European airports are dumpy. But I would say the ones in the USA are even worse.
Compare these to the excellent airports in as Velina mentions and ones in Asia like Singapore, Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong and Seoul.
Istanbul, Doha, Dubai - they all are amazing, clean and very modern airports where you can spend many hours waiting for connection flights. European airports increasingly look like the world of yesterday in that regard.
