You can always go for the old standby:
I remain, as always, your most faithful and humble servant, the one who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp, she who put the ram in the rama lama ding dong, sincerely and eternally yours,

I have the social skills for this and they're not passive aggressive it's just that feelings are complicated and there's lots of people.

Unironically this is sad because the math you had to invent to build the pyramids was so amazing and this is so flimsy, just. Like c'mon imagine trying to cut a corner brick to the correct angle without a protractor

Want to do something about it? Watch this video on bystander intervention and practice with your friends:
People don't respond because they don't know how to respond. You can learn! And then you will know what to do if you see something like this happen.

And the core conflict is how do you cope with the paradox of having the power to do anything but not the power to do everything, when all you want is to be good

Took me a minute, but this was shade (oblique insult) implying that a woman/girl (the person who had said "lmao") has "no ass"--a way of saying she's too skinny/unattractive
It's tricky bc she says "girls" which sounds general but she's using it to insult someone in particular

Well tariffs are literally a tax in purchasing goods. When you tax foreign goods, domestic producers raise their prices to match, taking the difference as profits.
Immigration increases both labor supply and labor demand but tends to increase supply most in services, which+

I don't think that's the context, but I can see how it might be mistaken for that.

I ask this out of genuine curiosity because I still haven't been able to understand it. How is this any different than keeping my politics to myself at Thanksgiving or crafting and hewing to a professional persona in the workplace? Don't we all keep some opinions to ourselves?

Hey thanks for being kind to a person you might have been justified in being mean to, on behalf of all the other people
It's a big fucken deal and I personally appreciate it

The Democrats are not "in power." They hold the Presidency and a small (not filibuster-proof) majority of one house of the legislature. Republicans hold one house of the legislature and the judiciary. The reason for "not doing anything" is that there's an impasse in Congress.
I learned what happened at Boston Harbor and Appomattox in school but I was never taught what happened at Mankato, or in Tulsa, or Stonewall, never was taught what a "sundown town" was. If you don't know these things then you cannot understand America.
This is wokeness.

lowers the cost of services. Immigrants also disproportionately support the agricultural sector, keeping food prices low. Restricting immigration will increase food, childcare, delivery, homebuilding and other service prices.

It's a hard comic/property to write well. You have to really understand the hesitation to be public/obligation to be a role model, the mask that's not a mask, the universal/particular dualism, the desire to live well competing with the desire to serve others.

He's talked about it before. He grew up in San Jose, a very LGBTQ+-friendly place, and sort of just assumed everybody was an ally. He was kind of shocked by baseball's homophobic culture and felt obligated to step up as an ally.

I don't see how any of what you say here has to do with anything that's been said prior
Saying "100% ≠ 30% so stop lying" does not imply that drug prices shouldn't be negotiated, or anything to do with advocating for or against regulation

Our church just moved to a new building and created all gender neutral bathrooms with all separate stalls and a combined sink area and honestly it simplifies things so much when eg you have to take your kids there, you don't have to pick which bathroom to go to

Oh, I totally agree, but I'm not surprised Supes is the one they screw up the most. He's the toughest nut to crack because the premise is often "even if you're well adjusted and incredibly powerful, life will never not be hard". Batman is gadgets and insane people, easy peasy.
