Step 1 of fy1 mental wellbeing - today I bought a work phone. £60 Motorola smart phone with £10 credit so I can just have all medicine stuff /WhatsApp groups on a phone that I can turn off when I need /leave at home in cupboard on annual leave!

passed osces. Wasn't a great pass but was a pass. Told myself all through med school that i am happy with any pass, not fighting to be top percentages so now need to actually put that into practice ans give myself some grace. A pass, yay 🎊🎊🎊

This is how my MIL got left to have 6 "chest infections" In a row before GP had bright idea to do a CXR bc every time she fit criteria of "basic chest infection" but it was lung cancer 🙃 luckily curative lobectomy but it's not just x + y = chest infection 😭

I’m a healthy 23 yo and that was my exact experience. Week in bed/ridiculous fever, not eating or moving. Then a week feeling better butStill in bed. Then several months to normality and still tired easily. It’s absolutely not a joke or something to be risked

Plain language is whatever the client/patient understands haha. For a rocket scientist technical terms might be plain language. For others it's what they use in day to day. If patient has used the term "hot girl summer" its GOOD the therapist is reflecting that back.
