This lovely woman walked at 9pm at night through a well lit part of clapham .she did nothing wrong by doing this .She should be able to do this .NO one is saying all men absolutely NO one .

Had bloods done today at my GP'S .
Approached the desk to find a pt really having a go at the reception staff .
They looked upset and browbeaten .
I couldn't help myself!
I said very loudly you're doing a great job and thanked them for working hard and being so helpful.

So well informed .
They work hard with very little recognition.

Just found these .
My dad was in the early stages of lewy body dementia.
He died two years later unable to walk,talk or feed himself.
I miss seeing him at his lovely house.
Looking back he hid so much from me as he knew I worried about him.
Hate dementia.

This was 6 years ago ,a family meal celebrating my dad's birthday. This was the first time I noticed something not right about my dad .He couldn't work out the menu and I ordered for him.I was terrified all night .Don't ignore warnings.

Small acts of kindness make people feel loved .I remember taking my dad to a cafe and he had soup but he struggled to feed himself and didn't want me to do it .The waitress popped it in a mug for him ,gave my dad a hug and winked at me .It helped my dad so much. BE KIND.

I'm so proud of my son Ethan ,lovely comments from his teachers at parents evening and achieving A's and B's in his mocks .After all he's faced in the last year I think it's remarkable.

Just back from Hosp ,had some chest pain and pain in left arm. Straight in ,one person in waiting room.All ok ,just need heart scan.Lovely medic said he hasn't seen anyone with covid for ages. This is good news .

Happy mothers day to moms past and present .
My mom died 37 years ago .
I was young and never stopped missing her but it made me fiercely independent and resourceful.

I've posted this before but thinking about my pop today .
We went out for lunch and he had soup and got it all over him .
Mid stage in his decline .
The lady in the cafe popped the soup in a mug for him and he managed well .
That kindness meant so much to me .
