@generalslug
I have a friend who is from a South American country (her family is rich) and she was talking about how she lived in like a gated compound with security all over and her parents had armoured cars and I was like "girl do you hear yourself, these are not normal things"
@hobartmariner
I would build more aqueducts (baths) because they gives more amenities and housing so you can grow your cities more and they will be more productive. Also focus on trade routes and train more builder units to improve more tiles.

Hating a group of people just for being a certain way they have no control over, its all the same to me. Hating men, women, different races, transpeople, its all the same. Just hate individuals like normal.

I'm trying my best as an insect in a forest of giants, but I can only do so much. That doesnt mean general hate is good or helpful. It warps peoples worldview and is just as harmful to oneself as well as the target group.
@PerthshireMags
This happened to me once and I just said "oh sorry, i didnt know its my first time on a train" (it wasnt, but im american so its plausible) and they let it slide.
@marinaxdove
I really regret acquiring literacy and could have easily gone the rest of my life without ever knowing about any of this. How can people be so cruel?

Anarchists view the world as skyrim where you will just happen upon helpful npcs who just happen to have the item you need for a quest
@NeilNevins
I think when you get the point you have more money than god you kind if have to pull the trigger on a treasure hunt. All time "yeah but wouldn't it be cool if it did"
Im not a sociologist or anything, and def not an expert on this topic but its very funny how everything is a systemic issue unless it is men who are suffering and then its viewed self-inflicted.
@wittlett
I feel like we go through this every four years and then people discover how difficult it is to emigrate to another country (esp if you arent rich)

If i had to choose one billionaire tech dork to live under a regime of omniscient observation and able to tinker with my decision making process through subtle algo tweaking, im probably gonna pick zuck 10/10 times cuz he isnt one of the top5 most divorced men of all time
@SmellyCandle42
@ZeroSuitCamus
I had friends who did band in university (and not even like a "famous for music" one) and it was apparently like being in the army they really demand a lot and if you are serious abt it as a career you do kind of have to desperately seek the approval of those who hold the keys
@zuza_real
Heres some pics from my visit. All those statues hella old and carved from salt by the miners. And you go so low you dont even realise it. Really surreal.

I bought a zester for my kitchen that zests, but sometimes I feel like thats the only thing. And the kettle still boils water.

When I was choosing topics for my masters thesis, literally 90% of the suggested topics were AI/ML or AI/ML adjacent. I wept.

I am so dumb i thought "jsyk coprolalia" was the guy it was named after, like some polish person of italian descent or something 😭
@MandelaFace
The weirdest thing is that everybody knows about him but I dont know anybody who watches his videos. Are there any real people or has he just hired out like all of Hyderabad?
@Universe__Lover
Many many moons ago when I leased my soul to the army we had a homeschooled person in our unit. He was nice, but had no idea how to navigate social settings and this this girl took absolute advantage of him and we all tried to help him but he had to learn the hard way.
@MandelaFace
Yeah, but the easter egg at the end of the video (spoilers) is that the pit is above the Davos WEF and it lands directly on the CEO of Nestle.
