Lower auto vol growth for 2024 because they are prioritizing energy vol growth, reallocating those batteries to energy storage which has higher margins, strong demand and otherwise remains battery constrained. My prediction at least.

Food for thought. Last year Tesla ran from $160 to $300 over a 3 month period (May to July). At that time in July, SPX was trading 4600. Wall Street wasn’t pricing in FSD success (tide starting to turn now) and margins were still under pressure (likely to have bottomed now). ATHs

I would add that voting to approve this “past-due” comp package will pave the way for the board to assemble the next, even more extreme comp package for Elon to take the company to a multi-trillion dollar market cap (i.e., greater than Apple and Aramco combined).

If you voted yes to the plan in 2018, the only reason you could morally vote against it now is if (i) you did not know in 2018 how close Elon was to other board members and (ii) had you known, you would’ve instead voted no in 2018.
Otherwise, you are the equivalent of a thief.

This is with respect to the move from DE to TX which requires 50% of all outstanding shares to approve I believe. The ratification of the comp package requires affirmative vote of 50% of shares that vote vs 50% of all outstanding shares. That is my understanding.
