A decade ago, I’d have been happy to take zero trophies as long as we had players like Thiago and Luis Diaz at the club. I loved Coutinho and Suarez for that very reason.
The fact that we’re challenging for titles now and we have a great manager is beyond any dreams I had.

is far too emotionally invested in that club to be a credible football pundit.
However, he appeals to what people now expect from football analysis since social media impacted the sport.
So the mainstream media see the financial benefits of his tribalism.
Pathetic.
@monkeysponge
It’s interesting how the outrage has been promoted by every media outlet. It’s actually dangerous when you see the vicious reactions and comments. People blaming Liverpool for something that was so benign and inconsequential - and was at worst an officiating error, not LFC’s.
One of the things I love about this goal is the audible growing anxiety of the Man City crowd as the move progresses.
This is Guardiola’s City - on their own pitch - and Liverpool are keeping the ball from them and hurting them like no other side has ever done, or ever will.
Salah & Karius were assaulted in the 2018 CL Final. LFC lost because of those assaults.

Sissoko conceded a penalty after 20 sec of the 2019 CL Final. THFC went on to lose 2-0.

I just have no idea how we’re somehow managing to come back and win all of these games without Jordan Henderson and James Milner.
It’s almost as if this “leadership” and “mentality” that we’ve heard so much about were attributes that these players already possessed in abundance.
I dread to think what they’d say about Liverpool if we’d scraped a 1-0 win at home against Brentford just 3 days after City had murdered them 4-1 away.
But that’s where we are. They’ll probably call this “a classy display of resilience” or some such shit.
The ongoing blind acceptance that Man City are unbeatable and the pervading lack of respect for Liverpool is a huge reason why City have been allowed to get away with so much.
@MadMontana
You could argue that going from Champions League holders to the club folding because the owner is a close personal friend of the bloke who wants to end mankind is a bigger bottle job, but horses for courses.
@The_Forty_Four
But hang on, Brendan Bumfuck from Bournemouth said it was shit when he was there 13 years ago for that Saturday morning kickoff at 11:15.
Now I don’t know WHAT to think.
@avisualgame
Rafa’s “Rant”.
It wasn’t a rant. Ferguson had repeatedly ranted throughout that season about how the fixture schedule was against Utd & pro-Liverpool. After Rafa’s comments, he even belittled LFC’s reliance on using reserve players.
The “facts” Rafa mentioned were all valid.
@AlexisMonteith
Nice one, but he’s free to joke about potentially the biggest example of prolonged organised cheating that the sport has ever known? Is that ok? You’re happy enough with that Alexis?
@CraigHope_DM
This is worse than what Mitrovic did and you were all over a lengthy ban for that.
In truth, neither incident deserves more than a 3-match ban but they both need to be treated equally. Otherwise how can this “respect” thing you’re always banging on about be considered equal?
@HenryJackson87
Yeah but you’re conveniently forgetting the fact that he plays for Liverpool, Hank. No Premier League greats have played for that club apparently.
To recap, you needed to have won a PL title to qualify for ‘PL Greatness’ until 2020.
It’s been ‘Multiple PL titles’ since then.

I remember an ad campaign (possibly by Nike???) immediately after this that just featured Ian Wright’s face alongside the caption “Gary who?”
Great days. Great fucking days.

A lighter shade - or even repetition of the mirror panelling if you can afford it - would definitely add a sense of space and depth to the whole layout. I’d also recommend considering a white gloss or similar for the door as it currently looks quite dated.

Lads, you’ve ALL been slagging Klopp off for this since 2015 so none of you are in a position to take the moral high ground on this one.
Fair play to Ange - he’s building team spirit at Spurs and they’re responding to it well.

Clearly. Even I as a Liverpool can’t think of a single anthem that comes close to it. Which, considering I’ve never fucking heard it before, speaks volumes.
Oh no, hang on, wait. I’ve just remembered literally hundreds of better ones.
At some point when you’re watching your team get destroyed, you just want a bit of unpredictability. Something different to give you hope - or entertainment at the very least. Someone who wants to continue taking the fight to the opposition.
When he took Darwin off, that went.
When Jurgen first took over, I recall some slightly more balanced fans of other clubs having a lot of time for him, while some even said that his personality made them actually like Liverpool.
Ange Postecoglou seems to have had a similar affect with Spurs. He’s a good bloke.

How can this somehow manage to look more fake than the actusl fake fans that Qatar paid to dress up as England fans last week?
I might actually rate this moment higher than our title win in 2020.
Those inbred Norwich fans just never, ever, ever learnt their lesson. No team has ever been so consistently destroyed by one player. Hilarious stuff.
