Not a mini-roundabout. And this is creating a deadly fixed object (DFO) for errant vehicles. There are better and safer ways to calm traffic for all users, such as an actual mini-roundabout.

- don't solve (and in fact exacerbate!) the fundamental space problem of cars
- require a smart phone with an Internet connection
Just not a serious proposal for moving people around the city.
The author of SB52 just called mass transit a "19th century solution" because he could summon a car from his pocket.
Working people are using Uber and Lyft today to get to work. It's impoverishing them.
That's the whole reason we voted for bus rapid transit.

Be vigilant and empathetic. Understand that a cyclist on a busy road on a windy day is very likely terrified and hates it a lot more than you do. Also understand that the cyclist can't cause an accident in that situation, only an inattentive/selfish/hurried driver can.
