Chair of the Salt Lake County Republican Party - Principles matter not personalities. Securing our God given liberties take priority over your feelings.

Agree with Carson or not, I think you have to admit there should be more transparency not only on the voter rolls, but also on the signature gathering list. We have transparency when it comes to initiatives and referendums, why not signature gathering? I think this is a perfect
Apartments, condos, multi-family, affordable housing are anti-family. A family needs space, they need a home, they need to feel that the structure over their head was or is being earned and leads to ownership. Stability is the key to a strong community in every aspect(physical
Young adults aren’t leaving the nest. Full-time workers are doubling and tripling up in apartments. Couples are leaving the state to start families of their own.

NO and this is exactly the problem with direct democracy that your proposing. Our liberties come from our Creator and government defends them. Democracy doesn't care about our liberties.
Prayers for safety are always welcome, but let's not unfairly label Trump supporters through silly insinuations. We should strive for respectful and honest discourse, not divisive rhetoric.

As

I would rather a bill that requires showing ID when you vote. So unless you meet some of the historical exceptions, home bound, military, missionary, etc... you should be voting in person to show your ID.
@DeidreHenderson
Why would you preemptively force someone to relinquish their right to challenge when the votes aren't even counted yet? This is very odd behavior.
"affordable housing" is code for very expensive and temporary. People who live in temporary housing do not invest in their community. They live closer to their neighbors but know less about them. Families need a long term home that they own and they are part of a community.
You know something is wrong with your post when the vast majority of likes are democrats.

It wasn't long ago that that was not the case. Builders were required to pay for water, sewer, electrical, roads as part of their permit fees. I know because I was a builder and a landlord. We have gotten to the point where builders are far too involved in Utah government.
