from a friend: Cassidy AM Update: not out of the woods. Platelets back down overnight. Remains in ICU. Leg is responding to treatment and will have an MRI today. Pain meds are good but the pain is real! He’s giving God thanks and praise for your prayers.

. Just spoke with David C. Fortunately he is in good hands. His platelets went from 250-275 (normal) to 2, and are now up to 3! The Docs don't know what caused this yet, whether snake or spider, but they brought anti-venom up from Miami. 1/2

Just finished reading the PCA's AIC Report on Abuse. Easily the most important document ever produced by our denomination. My biggest regret in reading this now is not having had it's wisdom during my last 25 years of ministry.

Today a guy stop by the office. He told me that he was a prophet from Nigeria. While he was praying today he had a vision of our church with a gigantic snake surrounding our building, where he grabbed the snake and crushed it while saying "Jesus!" So we got that going for us.
