At 24 I was 185lbs ~10%BF, did 100 pushups, 100’s of kips, and 50 pull ups after a 10k at 7 min pace.
At 59 i’ve stopped running marathons, but I’m the same weight and waist, could run a few miles at a 10 minute pace without issue, but more importantly, physically, stronger. U?

40 years of migraines because I wasn’t wearing a helmet when I flew over the handlebars and landed on the back of my head at age 12. I’m a case study at the UofI and after some deep research, finally cured. Wear a helmet.

2 yrs ago a close friend and business partner had a low blood pressure event while riding his bike on the rare occasion he skipped a helmet. The hematoma nearly killed him. He lost a year of his life to recovery, but he made it thanks to loved ones and best docs. Wear a helmet.

He is currently attending college and working on getting his driver’s license.
He also does a radio show for the college station.
Love that kid.
His career goal is in the film industry, headed to editing.

The video isn’t Dana’s dive, which was a triple reverse. The thing about the reverse dive…you only see the board (platform) too late if you’re too close. If you’re too far away, the dive sucks. You literally have to trust your skill unequivacably, or you will smack your head.

First son had colic for 4 months, rocked him back to sleep singing Frère Jacques over and over 30-60 minutes every night, sometimes 2x. Lost a ton of sleep but will never regret doing it.

It was tense. Was selected for extra scrutiny by security (I guess solo dad w/4 kids aged 11-2 was considered sketchy).
At the rental car shuttle realized that either a suitcase or a child could be snatched and I was screwed.
Fellow passengers helped load us up.

My take on it is that the body prunes muscle and vascular structure if we don’t use it – use it or lose it. Couple work arounds that don’t involve gear are dozens of eggs per day which is anabolic, and high dose L-arginine, which promotes blood vessel growth. Just my two Cents.

Raw Egg whites contain lots of B7 but also a second compound called avidin which binds to the B7, it is potent enough to also rob you of some of the B7 in your gut. Cooking raw egg whites breaks the avidin down and removes the issue.
