@szattwellauthor I actually think Gender has nothing to do with it at all. I think it is QUALITY of writer. A good author observes all different types of people, male, female, young, adult, elderly...from different cultures, and so on. It is NOT just about gender.

@DannyVanBooks What a great example. See, it doesn't matter how many times people say "schools should do more to..." when the main teachers are parents. Kids spend 90% of their life growing up NOT in school, and they learn their best from parents like these. Cost? One less Coffee per book.

@josrz @JohnDavisJDLLM An excellent example. It angers me greatly when I hear the narrative "boys need to be taught not to be violent to girls or women." When not ALL boys and men are. Violent crime is more men-men, and 1/3 Domestic violence, men are the victim. (But I wait to be called a misogynist).

@MozPerkins I wear a white poppy. I refuse to wear the red poppy because I find it offensive to the memory of our fallen heroes. I don't say "Lest We Forget" either - because I find it hypocritical to say those words whilst we still go to war, fund war, and perpetuate it.

@chelleryn99 I would aim hazard a guess that Kier Starmer is to blame. After 2019 I chucked my Labour membership in, and would now vote Green. Starmer turned a LOT of Labour members and supporters off. The Greens share a lot of values that Corbyn promoted.

@DeiBryn77 What people fail to realise is that higher speeds in built up areas merely get you from junction to junction faster, where you have to stop and wait for longer. Slower speeds keep a constant traffic rolling. The same is supposed to work on Smart Motorways speed control.
