@KGBBooks I agree. Iโll read a poorly written book with an intriguing plot, but not the other way around!

@hugues_nick I wish Iโd known this when I wrote my first book. So much time was wasted trying to fix the plot after writing it. Eventually, I just started another book lol

@JodiHerlick This is a really good perspective! I saw a huge improvement in my own writing once I started focusing on plot. But I still have lots of work to do.

@deanpb_author Thatโs an interesting perspective, but now that I think of it, so true. Iโve set aside well written books with a poor plot, but Iโve read terribly written books just because the plot kept me hooked!

@kamhossieny Makes sense. Iโm still learning how to plot - it definitely helps the story maintain a good pace, which is important!

@deanpb_author I like the idea of starting with a conversation. Even if thereโs not a lot happening, conversations are interesting to listen in on ๐

@ChuckRothman Good point. I tend to start with action and the reader is just confused ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

@KadieArtWriter The Quiet Place is such a good movie! I think this is an interesting premise - I imagine a literary agent would represent a book this!

@KadieArtWriter Dragons are one of the most interesting mythical creatures! I was just reading about the County Durham Dragon today (an English legend). I think they might be real ๐ค ๐
